As you may know, we are hopeful of a contractor removing the remaining trees from the Roman Wall copse by the end of September.

However, if you – or friends and neighbours – have a wood burning stove or fire, then you can feel free to visit this area with suitable vehicle and trailer to remove some winter fuel free of charge.

Access is via the top gate at the 14th Green on Boclair Road.

All we ask is that you bring a saw to clear a little more space within the copse after you’ve taken your fill.
