It was another succesful Gow Glen outing for Douglas Park on Saturday 1st June. In the annual match against Bearsden Golf Club, played since 1901, the score was 8-4 to the Douglas Park gents.

Bearsden went on to win the Forrest Putter in the evening competition – some would say the more difficult of the 2 matches played that day. Captain David Sharpe is seen presenting the Putter to Bearsden Captain Douglas McBride.
