On Saturday 3rd September  junior girl members who don’t have a handicap were invited to come and play a 6 hole competition.   Three girls signed up and were accompanied round the course by  the Girls junior convenor and the Lady Captain. The aim was to have some competitive golf but make it enjoyable and not too serious. Sometimes the girls were given a little bit of advice!! On completing the round each girl was given a small gift and the winner presented with trophy.  The idea is to use the same format of 6 holes and meet up every 2/3 months for a game. The trophy will then get passed on to the next winner.

The winner of the first event was Charlotte Beattie.  Well done Charlotte.
