Following major publicity on social media and the delivery of 5000 flyers and 120 posters by 57 Douglas Park Ladies locally and further afield, 57 Ladies (yes honestly!) turned up at our Ladies Open Evening on Wednesday.

Our guests spent a happy evening testing their golf skills on various fun activities set up by Robert, had guided tours of the Golf Club, an information session followed by an excellent buffet. The highlight, however was definitely the Safari Tour of the course by Drew, suitably attired in his Safari hat and accompanied by assorted jungle beasts.

So Far Sixteen Ladies have taken out the Get into Golf Membership and lots of application forms have been requested.

Many thanks to all the ladies who helped with the distribution of the flyers, to the 24 ladies who worked so hard on the evening at registration and as guides, all of whom were praised to the hilt in the feedback survey for their friendliness and helpfulness, to Ann Scott for her fantastic help, Robert, Lisa and Drew and particular thanks to Carol Fell who was a major force behind all the publicity before, during and after the event.
