Thanks to all 44 members who played in this event on Bank Holiday Monday, 7th May. This was a most encouraging entry for a new competition which Scottish Golf had asked clubs to get involved with to appeal to as wide a cross-section of club members as possible.Those who participated enjoyed ideal conditions and some excellent golf was played.

The winners going forward to the next stage at Milnathort in June are David McClement and Steven Cairns after a count back on the last 3 holes

Thanks, also, for the forbearance shown by those members who did not take part in the event but played the  designated 9 hole course twice.

A new competition such as this in an already crowded golfing diary inevitably creates logistical challenges but the goodwill shown by members on the day allowed for a most enjoyable and worthwhile competition
