Fine golfing weather on Saturday 21st July was matched by some excellent golf  played in the fourball Texas scramble format used for the event. Our Assistant professional (now a fully qualified PGA professional) Andrew Hutchison organised a varied programme greatly enjoyed by the large field which participated.

The winning team at the end of the day with a very creditable net score of 56.1 comprised Matthew Anderson, Colin MacDonald, Scott Manson and Steven Wightman.
