A team of 6 young members from Douglas Park took part in the Golf Sixes league at Helensburgh Golf Club at the weekend. The Golf Foundation initiative supported by Scottish Golf is encouraging junior golfers from the coaching environment onto the course by setting up a small 6 hole course and playing in a 2 person Texas Scramble.

With fantastic weather the team had a really enjoyable morning and thanks to Helensburgh for hosting all the team and their supporters so well and we wish them all the best in the finals to be played at Muckhart Golf Club in September.
