Junior Golf is about a whole lot more than hitting golf balls onto a field or range. Here at Douglas Park we want to help develop junior golfers who are going to be well rounded athletic performers to give them the best chance of success in whatever sport they perform in. Modern golfers such as Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler & Rory McIlroy have elevated golf well beyond a game for middle aged men with pot bellies, making it more fashionable to play but also highlighting the benefit to having a great grounding in Fundamental Movement Skills.

Our Junior Coaching Programme over the winter will integrate all the facets required for a child to make maximum progress whilst enjoying both the learning experience and the game itself!
We would like to invite you to come along to a Junior Open evening at Douglas Park on November 25th from 6-8pm to come along and see why your children or grandchildren should be participating in our programme and to see what fantastic facilities we have to offer. This event is open to members & non-members alike – Please feel free to bring your friends, the more the merrier!
