The Greenlees Team was promoted to Division 1 last season which was a great result so we knew we would have our work cut out for us this season.

It is a lot tougher in the 1^st division as many of the teams can field at least 5 or 6 single figure golfers or a whole team in Troon’s case, a luxury we don’t possess.

We arrived at Cathkin Braes for our final match confident we could get at least 1 point from 9.  However, it was not to be as we only managed half a point and are now demoted back to Division 2 for next season

There was a silver lining though as Lindsay Maclean had a hole in one at the 13^th so we did have something to celebrate.

Finally I would like to thank  all the team and the reserves this year for their support and hard fought play in the matches and now hoping we will manage to do better in 2020 !
