NOTICE OF GROUND UNDER REPAIR

(BUNKERS)

As a consequence of the recent heavy rain and in common with a Winter Rule at many other clubs we have decided to classify all bunkers on Douglas Park as “Ground Under Repair” until further notice during the Winter months.

This move will have a number of benefits, such as speeding up play during the winter months, reducing continual maintenance on an aspect of the course which currently needs re-visiting on a more regular basis and allowing our resources to be used for the other Winter Works which have been set out on previous notices. It will also allow us to address maintenance issues within the bunkers during this period without affecting play.

It is hoped that members will appreciate this positive move to improve their winter “Douglas Park Experience” while aiding the improvements to the course.
