The Douglas Park Past Captains’ team reached the final of the Andra Kirkaldy Trophy which was played on Sunday at Cawder Golf Course against old foes Lenzie.

In a very close fought match our team was beaten by one hole with the final pairing of Graham White & Captain Brian Thistle winning their tie 3 up but just missing out on achieving an overall halved match.

My thanks to all Past Captains who performed so admirably this year and to Captain Brian Thistle who came in as a late substitute on Sunday morning.
