Scottish Captain Helen Faulds with Irish Captain Terry Sexton

Douglas Park’s Past Captain Helen Faulds was Captain of the Scottish Senior International Team last week in the Home Internationals at Elie Golf Club.

Ladies Captain Lynda Smith, Olive Mackay, Sheana Donald, Bunny Grant and Carol Fell were all there to give her and the team support. Ireland were the strongest team and the eventual winners. Scotland finished in 3rd place behind England.

Scotland won against Wales 5-3
Scotland lost against England 6.5 – 1.5
Scotland lost against Ireland 7 – 1
