27th May 2013” The Douglas Park Past Captain’s team started their 2013 campaign with an impressive 13 up win over Palacerigg.
The first 3 pairings comprising Douglas Samson & John Telfer,Gordon McGregor & Colin McEwan and David Wightman & Hugh MacIntyre all won 3 up with the final pairing of Jim Fergusson & Ian Letford winning 4 up.
The Palacerigg Past Captains were fullsome in their praise regarding the condition of the course and in particular the excellence of our greens.
Douglas Park are now at home to either Lenzie or Sandyhills in the quater-finals of this competition.
