27th May 2013“Following upon two excellent results the Donald Cameron team travelled to league leaders,Bearsden,with 3 regular team members unavailable.
Angus Carrick led from the front with a great win over the Bearsden Club Champion, Cameron Kirkwood, by the tight margin 1 up.
Craig Young also had an excellent halved match with rising star,Ewen Ferguson.
Angus Watson completed the only positives for Douglas Park with a fine 3 & 2 win.
The remaining 5 team members lost to give Bearsden an overall victory 5.5 to 2.5,
A special mention should be made of the performance of Mark McColl who came into the team at the last minute and only lost on the final green.
The next match is away to Glasgow on the 5th June when,hopefully,our strongest team will be available to play.
