Golfers of all standards make these marks, and all golfers should check for them and repair any they see – even if they did not make them.
Pitch marks have a seriously detrimental effect on the greens, and
FAILURE TO REPAIR THEM WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASED USE OF WINTER GREENS.
