The Ladies v Gents match at Douglas Park Golf Club was held on the Sunday 21st August. Early rain, disappeared mid-afternoon to leave us playing in pleasant, breezy conditions. Result, Ladies 2, Gents 3.

A very successful Douglas Park Ladies Open Greensomes was run this year by Helen Robertson, Anne Fergusson and Sally Macfarlane. A cheque for£650 was presented to Elizabeth McCready of Riding for Disabled by Ladies Captain Mary McLean.
