We have to advise that further to recent investigations into some serious riverbank erosion on the River Allander behind the 9th green (please take a moment to have a look when next in the vicinity – if it doesn’t hold up play) we will shortly be contracting with a civil engineering company to re-instate the riverbank protection on our side of the River.

The necessary, and now quite urgent, repairs are budgeted to cost the club a five figure sum !

Obviously this was an expense we could have well done without however given the investment we have made in all our greens, we do not want to see the 9th green disappear into the River Allander.
